My name is Meghan Fitzsimmons.  I am currently the Child Study Team Social Worker at the David C. Abbott Early Learning Center.  I have been a proud member of the Marlboro Township Public Schools since 2004.  As the CST Social Worker, I have the pleasure of supporting students' academic and social/emotional learning.  Collaboration and communication is the key when working with parents, staff and administration to ensure student success.

Welcome to the DCAELC Child Study Team Home Page

Child Study Team (CST) members are specialists in the area of disabilities.  They are responsible for identification, evaluation, determination of eligibility for special education services, development and review of Individualized Education Program (IEP), and special education placement.  Child Study Team members include a school psychologist, a learning disabilities teacher-consultant and a school social worker.  The team can also include a speech-language therapist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist and other specialists as appropriate.  The team collaborates with parents, teachers and school administrators to provide free and appropriate educational services to eligible students.
