Preschool Flu Vaccine Required
All Preschool students must have the current flu vaccine prior to December 31st of this year.
Reminders will be sent home, please submit proof of vaccination as soon as your child is vaccinated.

A little bit about me
Welcome to David Abbott Early Learning Center. My name is Nurse Nancy. I have been the school nurse at AELC for 20 years. I love working with your preschool and kindergarten children. Prior to becoming the school nurse here I worked at RWJUH in the Surgical/Neuro/Trauma ICU and during the summer I was a camp nurse at Pine Grove Day Camp. I earned my BSN and School Nurse Certification from The College of New Jersey.
I have 4 children who all attended school in the Marlboro School District. My first grandson, Dante was born this year in Croatia. Whenever I get time off I like to travel there to visit him. I live near the beach in Ocean Township and often go for walks on the boardwalk.
This year I will see your children for the following mandated screenings; Vision, Hearing, BP, Height and Weight. I will let you know when a referral is needed for eye care or hearing issues.

Sunscreen
Sunscreen should be applied at home before school, since the children go outside during the day. If you want sunscreen to be reapplied after lunch, then you need to have a note from the Doctor and parent must also give permission as well. You must send in the sunscreen with the doctors note.
