Kindergarten is a year of tremendous academic and social growth. The children learn to work and play cooperatively, while developing new skills and friendships. 

Letters and letter sounds are introduced through literature, poetry, music, art, and in centers.Reading and writing activities are designed to address the multi-level needs of early literacy learners. Math, science and social studies concepts are taught through literature, as well as through music and art.

A Multiple Intelligence approach to teaching is used so that each child can learn in the way which best suits him or her.
