Welcome
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Mrs. Russo and I can't wait to be your child's in-class resource room teacher. I will be teaching alongside Ms. Carman and Ms. Andl. This is my 9th year teaching at David Abbott and I couldn't be more excited! This time in your child's life will be extremely rewarding. You will watch your child learn and grow in many ways.
I went to East Stroudsburg University where I received my degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Special Education. I also recieved my graduate degree in Administration from Georgian Court University. When I am not teaching, you can find me at the beach or gym. I love being outside and spending my time exploring new places.
Keeping you informed about your child's progress is an important tenet of the curriculum. I intend to use email as an easy and fast form of communication between us throughout the year. If you ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to email me, call me at school, or write me a note. I will respond ASAP!
