Mindfulness

Being able to focus our attention and regulate our emotions are two of the most important skills we develop. We assume everyone knows how to do it naturally .. even as adults WE may not even know how to do these things very well ! Research states that mindfulness practices for children results in children's ability for self-regulation. Developing an ability to remain calm and focused are essential skills that can aid in kids' relationships, school, sports, music, and other areas of life.
 
Apart of the Preschool curriculum is teaching mindfulness .. the ability to focus their attention on the present moment, and their ability to recognize what they're feeling.
